英雄无敌系列历来都有作弊码的设定，WoG的作弊码出自《指环王》。
按Tab键输入：
wogdarklord - lose game 游戏失败
wogfrodo - win battle (in combat screen) 战斗胜利
wogbilbo - max luck 最大幸运
wogisengard - gold and resources 获得金1000000，各项资源加100，秘银除外
woggandalf - all spells ( works in battles ) 战斗中获得所有魔法，魔法值999
wogsaruman - all spells ( on the world map ) 大地图上获得所有魔法，魔法值999
woggaladriel - 5 archangels per empty slot 每部队空格加5大天使
wogshadowfax - infinite map movement 无限移动力
wogeyeofsauron - reveals the world map 显示地图
wogpalantir - reveals the puzzle map 显示藏宝图
wogminastirith - fully build city 城堡完全建设
wogonering - 战役胜利（在campaign中可进入下一关）
